Ontario District Masons
The opportunity to grow, the chance to make a difference and the means to build a better world
Brotherly Love, Charity and Truth
The Ontario District of Masons
Masonry is first and foremost a fraternity rather than a service organization, social club or benevolent society. However, charity in the form of helping other people, is considered to be a cornerstone of the fraternity.

To the Officers and Brethren of Ontario District
Welcome Brethren to the 2025/2026 Masonic Year
As we step into the new Masonic year, we do so with renewed energy, fresh inspiration, and great excitement. This year marks a significant moment in the life of our Ontario District, as we warmly welcome new Lodges into our fold. The expansion of our District brings with it new opportunities, new friendships, and a strengthened spirit of Brotherhood.
We look forward to increased visitation across this now larger and more vibrant District. Let us embrace the chance to connect, support one another’s labours, and continue the proud traditions of our Craft together.
The Trestleboard ahead is filled with special events, social gatherings, and meaningful work that will enrich our experience as Masons. Let us move forward united, with purpose and fellowship, as we build another memorable year in the history of Ontario District.
Fraternally,
Michael C. Stephenson

Ontario District
In the early years, we had in our "Ontario District", Toronto, Peterborough, Millbrook, Omemee, Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, Keene, Norwood, Minden, and Woodville, along with the current Ontario District Lodges. As numbers grew, the other Lodges were then split off into different Districts to make things more manageable.
